What does a class cost? A registration fee of 25 dollars is required. Class cost is 25 dollars that includes online class
access and online reading material. However, a student may choose to purchase hardcopy reading material.
Who is eligible for the class? Our reading material for classes is geared toward 10th grade students and up. Anyone who has an interest
in improving their writing skills is welcome to participate.
How do I sign up? Access our Training Calendar by clicking on the “Training” navigation buttonon any Web
page. Select a class and you will be directed to an electronic registration form. Once the form is completed, you’re
eligible to access your online class once you receive the class password.
How long are classes held? Our online classes are self-paced. The classes are designed to keep you online for about 15 minutes
to give instruction. However, you can attend the class electronically as many times as you wish each day for up to 20 hours
total for the class as part of your paid fee.
What is the class size? The class size is limited to 10-20 students, depending on employee monitoring availability.
Class registration is based on a first come, first serve basis.
How can I determine my progress while taking a class? A self-assessment is provided with each class. A rubric measurement guides you to score yourself based
on various criteria items that were derived from the class objectives.
Who can I contact if I have questions or concerns? If you have technical difficulties while accessing your class, an email address is provided and someone
can help you. You can share your work online with others registered for the same class to get feedback comments.
Can I do extra work at home? Our courses are designed to foster continued writing interest. Therefore, extra work at home is anticipated
and encouraged.
Do you offer homework help? You will be able to post questions to a “class chat room” where other students can offer
suggestions.
